Self actualization

We are hopeful that we shall reach. Yet we are doubtful we have. Either way, for sure, we did.

Are we happy who we are today? Do we long for the past life or have we lost ourselves. When we think of the life we have lived, do we think of ourselves, our age perhaps?Do we even remember how we looked like in recollection? When we reminisce about the past is it to be interpreted as a longing for who you were or is it the circumstance that you were in at the past. 

The questions are not rhetoric and the  answer is a simple one. 

Now; truth be told; very few people have reached self actualization and are happy with who they are today. 

As we gain momentum in life,it becomes clear that we have all been pushed to edge and required to change our personalities for one reason or another or rather for one event that led to another. No one ever plans to change. We can never change the circumstance, but we change for the circumstance. Be it a marriage, a new birth, we somehow automatically change.

Life has a way of forcing us to change. Change is life itself. A moment lived is a moment past, a past life is a moment changed.

Yes! We professedly changed because of someone and more often by lack of someone. 

But question remains, if it were upto us, should we change who we are so that we adopt to whatever change in life or should we change our surroundings and let the environment adopt us.

Truth is we are the environment. It has already adopted us. And whether we like it or not, the environment will never adopt to us. We can only change ourselves to adopt to the dynamism of life as lived.

For now, we are the rainbow in between sun and rain. As soon as we accept that, we will understand only too well that we are in our best moment right now; For we have lived and we are going to leave. We are where we are right now because of  circumstances that have been put in the past to bring us to, this moment right now. This moment right now, it was and is an inevitable moment. It is as sure as this; the past gone,future /tomorrow uncertain. The only thing we can be sure of is that you are here right now.Exactly where everything that has happened in your past life has been stringed to bring you right here right now. 

Understand that it is not by lack nor by luck but we are lucky; to be. At a moment in time such as this here now. This hear now: 

The Almighty is the best of planners. And He  planned for you to be in this moment right now. With precision. Which of the favors of your lord will you deny?

I remember once when i was at my lowest moments, my cousin told me, 'There is good in everything that the lord gives us, but it is we as humans that negate and doubt.'

Whichever circumstance you may be in, whichever battles you are fighting, they are meant to be there. You will appreciate them at some point in future. Do not wallow in sorrow. Do not doubt. Thank the lord for placing you where you are at this exact moment. Its an honor. Which of the favors of the lord will you deny?

Appreciate the moment and thank the Almighty for the moment. Appreciate the current and hope for the future. 

Be it the hope of being with your children and family, be it the hope of a better future. Whatever future moment you live. I hope it will be. Right here, Right now, i know it to be the best moment of your life. Which of the favors of your lord will you deny?
