(This article is dedicated to you who is feeling low. Even in their lowest of moments, the selfless hide their despair behind a smile. Knowing too/true well the resonating effect of a smile. So dear readers, when a depressed person hides behind a smile, it is not really a veneer to cover themselves. It is an actual attempt to shield your tears. For they know, we know, if we were to truly empathize, we would certainly sympathize with what we couldn’t possibly fathom.)
The eyes, windows to the soul. The soul, a reflection in itself, our true self. Let us reflect and mirror this in truth for until we truly understand that what we see in others, is actually, what others see in us. Perceptive through perspective.
You know, it matters not what they know. What matters is that we know that which they do not know. Be in the now and beyond of knowing what they do not know. Let us not note only what they have noted. Perhaps its time for them to note what we have noted. Until they do, then what they think we don’t know we already know. What they don’t know yet, we understand. Stand and share your perspective from others with others. Do not fear to be the first to raise your hand in question and rise as a leader.
True leadership is however not shown by questioning authority but being an authority in no longer being part of the questionable few. Do not be selfish in knowledge and opinions. The gap cannot be bridged until you are the first to walk through the bridge. Your bridge. Your universe. Your understanding. Your opinions. Express to impress.
Now you know what I know now but once knew not.
Take note.
Fear not!
The first step is always the hardest but more often than not, it is the right one. A step towards the right direction some might say. A literal comprehension might just construe it to mean that it might just be time to step aside and be the first in line. Your own line. A leader in your own path. A head ahead.
Wayne Gretzky, a former Canadian ice hockey player opined:
“We miss 100% of the shots we don’t take”
Once we fight the fright and just take that step, then we just might find the might in certitude. A maybe that just may be. Who knows??
Napoleon Hill was not wrong when he stated that:
“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve!”
Whichever direction, move silently. Dazzle them how you are able to finally foot the bills. You might be right in stepping right and they, now on your left, might just be left with their foot in their mouth.
Destiny!! It is written. It WAS written before you. It is now that we are living the then yet it is now that shapes our tomorrow. All the reason why we procrastinate today what we will do tomorrow. But even in procrastination, until we take action, it will always remain. Procrastination it remains synonymous with how we live. Yesterday, I was. Today, I will and tomorrow, I wish.
I share inspiration I got from one Paulo Coelho:
“Our contradictions. We are in such a hurry to grow up, and then we long for our lost childhood. We make ourselves ill earning money, and then spend all our money on getting well again. We think so much about the future that we neglect the present, and thus experience neither the present nor the future. We live as if we were never going to die, and die as if we had never lived.”
Right now, I AM taking action on your inaction. I am not taking advantage of your inaction. Its not a pyramid scheme, I am not asking for a following. I am asking you to show me the way and perhaps I may follow your feat. For it is through you that I see myself. You may not see it yet. It is you that others depend on. Life as is. We are reliant on our parents when we are born, and as life goes on our parents become reliant on us. Let us treat ourselves in treating them right. It is not necessarily karma, it may just be you are the one chosen to lead. Do not depress because you feel sorry for yourself. Impress because you believe in yourself. Take the right step. The path you start foot alone, often ends in shared feat.
